When you stressed you eat ice cream, chocolate and sweets. Because "Stressed" spelled backward is DESSERTS.
Guava Ice cream
Ingredients
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup happy cow milk
1/2 cup sugar
5 large happy chicken egg yolks
1 cup concentrated guava juice
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Few drops of pink colouring ( optional )
1/ Combine milk, sugar in a medium pot over medium-low heat and cook, stirring until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is warm.
2/ Place the happy chicken egg yolks in a small bowl and whisking constantly but make sure don't break your wrist. Add about 1/2 of the milk mixture to the eggs and stir until smooth.
3/ Gradually add the yolk mixture to the pot, again whisking constantly. Add in the guava juice and few drops of pink coloring.
4/ Cook, stirring often, until the mixture coats the wooden spoon. Stir in the vanilla extract and mix well.
5/ Let it cool to room temperature and stir in the heavy cream and mix well.
6/ Then cover with cling wrap and chill in the refrigerator overnight.
7/ Freeze in an ice cream machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
1/ Making ice cream can be done without the use of ice cream maker. An electric mixer or food processor can be used to break up the ice crystals during the freezing process.
2/ Follow above method from step 1 to step 6.
3/ Then place ice cream mixture in the freezer and allow the mixture to freeze for 2 hours.
4/ Remove from freezer and beat mixture to break up the ice crystals that are beginning to form. Repeat the freezing and beating 3 times for a smooth and creamy ice cream.
5/ The ice cream should be thick but soft to scoop. If not thick enough return to freezer for additional freezing time and beat the mixture again.
6/ Once ice cream thickened properly, pour into air tight container to freeze till set.
Note: You can pour the ice cream mixture into the heart shape plastic mold to make heart shape ice cream. Great for coming valentine day. Make this lovely ice cream for your loved one.
