My permanent resident........they came to me 2 years ago during Chinese New Year.
Yes, not one but two of them.....
The air condition compressor unit is now their territory. I don't caged them but they come back 3 times a day when I'm at work and up to 5 times a day during weekend when I'm home.
I feed them breakfast, lunch, dinner or as and when they request by cooing non stop in my kitchen window.

Champagne: Darling, you're early today? I miss you during your absent.
Whiskey: Hi sweetheart, how was your day? I miss you too.
Let's enjoy our awesome dinner....
Champagne: Darling, you finish the rest. I'd enough and I'm seriously over weight.
Whiskey: Ok sweetheart, I'm ever ready to finish this scrumptious meal.
Mr Whiskey is doing his poo poo business and looks like Champagne is holding her breath. hahaha.......

Hello Amelia, wow! Love your doves. Very good fung shui they come to your house to feed and nest.
ReplyDeleteYes, birds should be free to rom the skies....
Glad you got no cats there, or neighbour.
I love the sounds of their coooing. I have one here too, a single mother, comes or appears only in Spring beside my car. Has a nest on the tree next to my car.
Only thing we have black as well red squirrels bother her. They'll et what I put down....
Good for you looking after them.
Have fun.
Lee.
You are too much, Amelia! Even have names for the two doves, and have a full conversation going among them. So cute, and very creative thinking!
ReplyDelete(...and who knows, maybe they are talking amongst each other...LOL)
This is such a cute post:)And your permanent residents looks awesome and very cheerful indeed...just like their hostess,I guess!
ReplyDeleteHi Lee, Thanks for dropping by. I'm staying in an apartment, so no cats attack them.

It is very nice of you to feed them and set them free. It is a good fengshui to have birds nest in your house, just like Uncle Lee said.
ReplyDeleteHi Sheoh, thanks for your kind words. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteWow!!! Its nice of you to feed them and then they come back again when its meal time. Suppose they have got used to your environment and are very comfortable with it.
ReplyDeleteBtw, I like how you have shared on how they are like made for each other, being a pair.
Hi Nava, yes they are so use to coming back everyday for their meals and respond to me when I talk to them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words.
i think those doves can really understand what you're talking...they even stand quietly and pose for you!
ReplyDeleteHi Lena, oh yes! They do respond when ever I talk to them.
ReplyDeleteI take their pictures almost everyday, so much so when they see me, they start posing.LOL
What a cute post! Love it! You have a pomegranate tree? Jealous! Do take some pictures with fruits hanging on it :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if your doves have found a wonderful place to nest with great meals. I'm envious that you can understand what they are saying to each other. They are a beautiful couple.
ReplyDeleteHi Biren, thanks for your compliments. Oh sure, will take the picture of the fruits when available, in fact just pluck 2 fruits last week but forgot to take picture. Have an nice day.
ReplyDeleteHi George, thanks for your kind words. The doves respond by cooing when I talk to them. When I take out my camera, they will stay still and start posing, hahaha.. Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteBananaz got one wild bird nest under the piping at my washing area for a few years already. Don't know what kind of birds but very pretty ones. As usual leave morning and back evening. Wow your lovey dovey had a great time at your place. Interesting bird talk 3 talk 4, 7 early 8 early. Nice pixz of both.
ReplyDeleteYou are so sweet and kind. My mom doesn't like when dove comes to her balcony because we put futon (those Japanese bed on floor) outside to dry and she doesn't like doves doing some business on the futon. haha! Looks like these doves like you a lot too!
ReplyDeleteBananaz, thanks for your compliments. Hahaha talk 3 talk 4, 7 early 8 early.... long time never used this phrase.
ReplyDeleteHey, it's good that the wild bird still staying at your place for so many years, good fengshui.
Have a nice weekend.
Hi Nami, actually it's good feng shui if any birds come to the house but must let it free to come and go as they like.
ReplyDeleteMy doves always come back in time for their meals except when very heavy rain.
Have a nice weekend.
Hello Amelia,
ReplyDeleteI love almost all kinds of birds..except gagak of course..Hahaha.I totally agree with uncle Lee,they actually bring good luck and even for Malays they believe they bring 'rezeki' or prosper to your house if they ever nested there.
Lovely blog you have here.May luck, joy and prosper always cherish you and your family.
Hi Mira, thanks for compliments and kind words. I think no one like gagak cos it bring bad luck.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.

Hi Nava, enjoy your holiday. Thanks for keeping me inform.
ReplyDeleteIt must be very relaxing watching these birds flying and resting outside your house's window.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed these shots and their dialogue very much. So cute, looks like you have fed them well as they were always ready for your camera ^_^
ReplyDeleteHi Zoe, oh yes, enjoy looking at them while I do my cooking. Without fail they come back for their regular meals unless they go for their honeymoon. hahaha... Have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, thanks for your compliments. Yes, they respond whenever I talk to them. I took 2 to 3 shots of their pictures everyday, so now when ever they see me with camera they will stay still and pose for me. hahaha...
